Getting to go up these circular stairs made the price well worth it!
The view from the top of the castle was amazing! This is Linden and I with the town of Mt. Gambier in the background.
You could see both the Blue Lake and Valley Lake at the same time. Notice the difference in water color?
And then here was the most important view for Linden: the agriculture land.
They had binoculars inside the castle that you could use to see even further. Linden used them to scope out some grain bins that we later drove around in search of.
After taking in all of the views and catching our breath from the hike, we headed off again in search of these grain bins. On the way, we saw this pretty flowering tree.
After going in circles and discussing which direction the grain bins were, we finally found them.
Linden went and checked them out and climbed all over them.
Do you think he'd pass for an Aussie farmer?
And this concludes our first farm visit for South Australia!
Those stairs would be banned for being unsafe in the USA I'm sure. It looks like you had some really good workouts, and some really great views down there. If I was in a different stage of life altogether, these pictures would have me booking a tour of Australia!
